Vince Evans, our Music Director, and choir members are the first to arrive on Sundays. They gather around the new Stephen Brent Miller Memorial Grand Piano and prepare for the anthem they will sing that day. Their rendition of "Battle Hymn of the Republic" raised the roof. New singers are warmly welcomed.

Worshipers receive a bulletin and pick up a Presbyterian hymnal and Bible to take to their seat. One Braille hymnal is available. Worship begins at 11 o'clock. The typical service includes: Passing the Peace (we greet those around us as a sign of our unity through God's love; young children leave for their Sunday School class); The Prayers of the People (offered by the lay leader for the day); The Lord's Prayer (we say "Our Father, Our Mother in heaven").

Dress is typically casual. In summer, many wear shorts. The pastors' dress varies from casual to collars to robes. Many regular worshipers arrive right at 11 but linger long after worship to catch up with old friends and become acquainted with visitors. Sunday Calendar: First Sundays of the month - Communion is served; all who trust in God are invited to partake. Second Sunday of the month - Second Sunday Brunch, either a meal prepared by Southwest Catering or a potluck prepared by the congregation, is enjoyed. Third Sundays - Birthday Sunday; we acknowledge those celebrating birthdays in the month.
